ILORIN CHAPTER REPORT

As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with enthusiasm and gratitude for the active participation of our alumni association members. Their engagement through our WhatsApp group, attendance at events, and generous financial contributions have significantly strengthened our community. Together, we have fostered connections that resonate far beyond our school years. One of the highlights of the year was our participation in the USOSA Sports Carnival. It was a joy to see so many alumni come together, showcasing their athletic talents and team spirit. The camaraderie and enthusiasm displayed at this event were a true testament to the bonds we share. We also felicitated with four exceptional members of our community who reached new heights in their careers last year. Justice Oluwatosin Adeniyi (’95 Set) was elevated from the position of a Magistrate to a High Court Judge.

Professor Mutiat A. Balogun (’86 Set), Professor J.A. Ogunmodede (’94 Set), and Professor Risikat N. Ahmed (’95 Set) have all become professors, and we are proud of their achievements. Their hard work and dedication inspire us all. In our end of year bonding session held on December 8, 2024, new executives were inaugurated to lead our association.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Mutiat A. Balogun for her leadership as past chairman and congratulate Mr. Opeyemi Abdulakeem Dele on his new role. We look forward to the vision and energy he will bring to our association. As we conclude this report, we acknowledge the guidance and support of God in all our endeavors. Together, we will continue to build a thriving alumni community that supports each other and our beloved school. Thank you.

Opeyemi Abdulakeem Dele Daramola Samson Cole CHAIRMAN GENERAL SECRETARY
