LAGOS CHAPTER REPORT
The year 2024 kicked off with the Chapter preparing for 13th Annual General Meeting of the National body. The event was held between Friday 16th and Saturday 17th 2024 in Lagos. The Friday event commenced with the Meet and Greet at Esporta suites in Ikeja GRA and the AGM proper was held at the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja GRA. This AGM was a landmark one as it doubled as an election AGM, where the immediate past executive bowed out and a new one was ushered.
The new executive is now led by Mrs Maeve Ere-Bestman. Also, during the year under review, the Chapter sent representatives to fly the flag of the school at the second USOSA Games held in Abuja. Representatives of the chapter were part of the planning committee for the games. During the year, the chapter organized a webinar titled "Career Resilience: Thriving Through Corporate Change & Uncertainties” presented by Busayo Adegoke who doubles as the chapter PRO. The event was fairly attended.
The Chapter ended the year by having her annual End of Year Party on December 22, 2024. This year’s event was hosted by the chapter at the Esporta suites in Ikeja GRA Notable Achievements in 2024 - Successful transition of leadership to a new National executive - Hosted a webinar series - Active participation in national events (USOSA Games and USOSA Ball) - Organized annual End of Year Party for members
